SAP Business One (SBO) Training

 The most common question we seem to get is how to learn more about the SAP Business One if you have no previous experience with the software and with any of the companies using or selling it. Unfortunately, there are very few resources outside of the official SAP training world. If you work for someone who is either using or selling SAP Business One, you can obtain a SAP “S” number. This number serves as the username to access the online training resources offered by SAP.

The online training is really the first step in the training. After that, SAP offers formal classroom training to help round out anything you did not understand in the online training material and to help apply what you have learned to actual implementations. It is also recommended that you go through a couple of implementations before attempting to get your certification. To get your certification (there are several different types, depending on what path you want to take), you will go to your local testing center and take a test.

As of this posting, I have confirmed that in the USA, SAP only offers training to SAP Partners (Partners normally train the customers). Note: that classroom training is not free and the partner will probably want you to pay for your own class.
