Print Layout Designer (PLD) - Print Area Notes

Report Areas

Page Header Repeats on Every Page.
Start of Report will only show on the first page.
End of Report only on the last page of the report.
Page Footer repeats on every page (like page Header)
The large White space on the PLD determines how many detail lines will appear for the repetitive area.

Area Properties
Hide Repetitive Area if Empty only on the line level. If there is no information to print and this is checked, the system will hide the header, detail, and footer of the repetitive area.

Area Height Adjustment – When checked the space allocated to the area will be automatically limited to just what is needed by the fields in the area. Note: The fields that do not display information or are null will also be suppressed (the area) no black spaces will be shown (This statement has not been validated).
